Dance Classes, Dance Lessons, Dance Moves
Welcome DanceSF Dance Class Students: Here's your Private VIP Salsa BootCamp Area. This area is just for http://www.DanceSF.com dance lesson students! Please Note: We are currently RE-ORGANIZING our lessons for DanceSF students (to make it easier to find what you want). Please refer to the Beginner's Salsa Lessons, right below the DanceSF button on the right side navigation, for Basic, step by step, progressive salsa lessons! I can't stress enough how INTEGRAL this area is to your dance classes! This will help you excel ... (faster and easier than anyone else - gotta love that). Are you DanceSF.com student? This area of SalsaBootCamp is for you! We'll cover a lot of salsa dance basics that you need to know for class, and we'll give you the things you need to practice to be prepared. So, let's get to work, with all the basics ya' need... Learn all the individual salsa dance footwork, styling, salsa steps and salsa shines. You do not need a partner for this section! All of the dance instruction on these dance videos can be done solo (without a partner). For example, if you were having trouble in the intermediate dance class warm up, or with any of you basic salsa dance footwork, this is where you can learn, practice and review. This section is for salsa moves and salsa patterns with a partner. All of the salsa moves that we have done in class are broken down here and explained. Each salsa pattern is demonstrated, broken down, and when possible danced to salsa music. This salsa classes department is composed of salsa dance video lessons directly from our DVDs. These handpicked lessons will be of the greatest benefits to all of our students in classes and serve as a great review and training tool to master the fundamental concepts that we learn each week. These lessons are typically longer in length and require a dance partner. In the salsa music section, our salsa videos will break down all the different salsa dance instruments and the basic layout of a salsa song. We'll study the layout of salsa music and break it down into it's individual pieces. In addition, we'll relate salsa music to the dance steps that you are learning and help you to interpret salsa music at a higher level and use that to elevate your salsa dancing. Related to salsa music above, salsa timing is crucial to becoming a serious social salsa dancer. Salsa timing is often not talked about enough and that's why we wanted to break out this section of SalsaBootCamp for our DanceSF students. Salsa Timing is really that critical and being on time with the salsa music is only second to being on time with you partner and enjoying the dance. Salsa timing is also one of the most difficult aspects of becoming a salsa dancer. Don't worry, we'll get you through it.

| Here's what our Salsa BootCampers are saying...
"...classes are wonderful when I have the time and patience to dance with a variety of people with different skill levels. I'm a member of the salsa bootcamp and I have received the bootcamp DVDs. I love the fact that I can take my portable dvd player and practice the dance moves. I'm constantly listening to salsa music, I'm hooked."

"Salsa Bootcamp is GREAT. The instructional Videos are precise and very easy to follow. I learn something new from each one, and because I manage a Dance Studio, I have seen a lot of different methods of teaching, but I like these the best. I always learn something new. Thanks so much for all you do to keep this wonderful site going...I recommend it to everyone!"
Betty Norman.

"I am very Happy indeed to be a member of Salsa Boot camp. I have learned so much through the videos...it is so nice to watch, and then practice the steps. Most amazing to me is the free DVD I received, to me it is like Christmas. I can hardly wait to watch it. So keep up the good work, and hope to receive another. Thank you so much, a very happy student."

"Just received the BootCamp DVDs and I just love them. It's as though I'm taking lessons from the instructor who teaches groups at the local salsa clubs, i.e. they're excellent."
