Growing up in his local Church Choir, Seaon was already convinced that singing was where he intended to invest his life. At the tender age of 5, he was already singing with several choirs all over Guyana and music was where his heart was. Soon after, Seaon turned to dancing as another means of exhalation and a fight for self-expression. He commenced heavy training in Ballet, Jazz and Modern Dancing; a spirit he carries with him to this day.
Seaon Performing at Rudolpho's in December 1999At the age of 14, Seaon immigrated to New York City where he attended New York University, majoring in Finance & Information Systems and a minor in Music. But this background of formal education, was not where Seaon's heart was; he still felt most comfortable on-stage. For the sake of curiosity, Seaon began taking Salsa lessons with several friends who offered to help. However, it wasn't until he arrived at the Razz M' Tazz Dance Company that his dancing began to reach a somewhat stable level. This was where he received heavy technical training, and the understanding of dancing on 2. After being a Razz M' Tazz Dance Instructor for about 2 years, Seaon again decided that he wanted more. He had always heard of Mr. Eddie Torres, but nothing he heard, could have compared to what was in store for him. After attending his first Eddie Torres class, Seaon immediately knew that his dancing would take off. He studied with Mr. Torres for approximately 1 year, and has been a featured dancer in the classic and dynamic routine "Mon-Ti."
Seaon "Stylist" Bristol - Taken by Joel GuzmanNow residing in Los Angeles California, Seaon's plans are very simple. He has already taken his Ballet, Jazz and Modern training and incorporated it into his interpretation of Salsa. What he now knows, he intends to share with fellow dancers and instructors of different styles. Seaon is very open with his style and knowledge of his material, and expresses them both when Leading and Following. He is one of the very first instructors to have taken the Follower's role to such an extreme, and loves every minute of it. With persistence and determination, Seaon is already on his way to making a mark in today's Salsa/Mambo Industry!
